If we look at the foot roll attribute here,
00:06
when it goes beyond a certain point,
00:08
the leg breaks, which isn't great.
00:11
So it makes sense to instead limit this attribute.
00:14
So the animator never gets to this point.
00:18
All we need to do is go to modify edit attribute
00:22
and select foot roll.
00:25
Let's move it back.
00:28
So about there,
00:29
we can set this to have a minimum and maximum value.
00:33
So let's set the minimum to minus 40.
00:39
Ah just turn that off.
00:41
So the maximum should be around here,
00:45
let's say 80.
00:48
We can scrub that now and it won't get to those breaking points.
00:54
We can do the same with the foot bank attribute too.
00:58
So this is too far.
01:01
Maybe there
01:03
switch to foot bank
01:05
and set these to minus 60
01:08
in 60.
01:12
That's better.
01:14
OK. Good.
01:16
Just update the opposite foot.
01:25
OK? Good. All limited.
01:28
So now we have a rig which is fully built and made animator safe.
01:32
So there shouldn't be any breakages
01:35
with that said though, there's always something that gets missed.
01:38
So it's worth giving everything another once over just to be sure.
