Tutorial
Length:
1 min.
Transcript
00:03
We're going to be connecting directly to the rotation attributes.
00:07
So let's go through and clean the joints just to simplify things.
00:12
Remember to also update the joint orient attributes too.
00:17
Ok. Good.
00:19
Let's quickly remove the color too.
00:22
Just set it to default for now,
00:26
parent the heel joint to the foot control.
00:30
So the joints will follow where the foot goes
00:33
with the
00:34
leg.
00:34
We included the toes so we could control them in IK too.
00:39
We now need an additional joint.
00:41
This will help to keep the foot level as the control moves.
00:46
This wouldn't be needed on a standard Biped rig
00:49
which has just one toe,
00:51
but we have two toes. So this will control the ankle for us too.
00:56
Duplicate the foot joint again
00:58
and delete its Children.
01:01
Now match the new joints position to the reverse foot, ball joint.
01:05
Just use translation for now.
01:08
Now parent it back to the IK foot joint
01:11
and rename it to bald. Left IK.
01:15
That's the main control joints created.
