Realtime rigging – Skin binding and editing

As with any rig in Maya, in order for the skeleton to drive the model, you have to bind it to the model by skinning it. Learn how to prepare your model for skinning, then explore Maya’s skin binding options. After you have performed the skin binding on your creature model, then you can edit the weights by adjusting the weight values.
