Set the attributes of each locator to 0, to make them easier to use and animate, and also to return to the default pose.

We want the locator's attributes to be set to zero,
00:07
making them easier to use and animate and also get back to the default pose.
00:12
We can simply move the values down to the transform offset parent matrix section.
00:17
And that can now be moved and animated
00:20
and easily reset to zero to get back to the default position.
00:25
Let's do the same on the other locators now
00:28
and clean those.
00:30
OK? Good.
00:32
So that's space swapping, set up on an object with two targets
00:36
and also one with multiple targets.
00:39
This can be applied to anything really.
00:42
If you wanted, you could go back and rework the head,
00:45
removing the constraints and swapping them for this more economical solution.
00:50
What I would also suggest is maybe adding a new attribute here
00:54
one which will control if the locators are visible or not.
00:58
This will just
00:59
declutter the scene when the animator doesn't need them.
01:02
Simply connect the new attribute to the visibility attributes here.
01:07
OK? So now I need to go through all that again
01:10
and update the right arm
01:12
and I can also do the same process with the legs.
01:17
OK? Here we go all the space swapping set up and feel free to pick this file apart.
01:22
If you're at all unsure with any part of the process.
01:26
As you can see, I also added the attribute I mentioned too
01:30
so we can hide those locators.
