Publish ReCap Pro projects to the cloud.

ReCap Pro offers the ability to publish your projects to the cloud or update already published projects.

Once published, you can add people to the project so they can view or manipulate the file.

From the Home screen, open a project you wish to publish.

From the Project screen, review the project.

Then, hover your cursor over Home.

From the Home tile menu, select Publish.

A prompt appears that states you must save the project before publishing.

If the project you are working on is already published, from here, you can update the project.

Then, click in the Autodesk connected drive location field.

This opens a file browser.

Navigate to your Autodesk drive location where the project should be published.

If needed, you can create a new folder in which to publish your project.

It might take a few moments for the desktop connector to generate a new folder

and an error could display on the publishing dialog.

If an error does display, open the file browser and select the new folder again.

Back in the publishing dialog, select which scan subsets to include in publication.

After it is published, the point cloud files from the project will begin to upload to the cloud.

Due to the size of most point clouds, this process could take quite a bit of time.

Once it has published successfully to the cloud, open the connected drive location, such as Autodesk Docs, in your web browser.

Navigate to your project and select the ReCap project file, which has a .rcp file extension.
