Run Clash Detection with Autodesk Navisworks and Create ACC Issues
Several Construction companies are bringing the construction model coordination in-house, and the inclusion of Autodesk Docs within the AEC Collection subscription allows them to make this possible. This course teaches you how to use Autodesk Docs to host models and open them in Navisworks for clash detection. You will also learn how to group clash results in Navisworks and create ACC Issues to notify the stakeholders to resolve those clashes.
Module overview
Several Construction companies are bringing the construction model coordination in-house, and the inclusion of Autodesk Docs within the AEC Collection subscription allows them to make this possible. This course teaches you how to use Autodesk Docs to host models and open them in Navisworks for clash detection. You will also learn how to group clash results in Navisworks and create ACC Issues to notify the stakeholders to resolve those clashes.
This module takes approximately 45 minutes to complete. By the end of the module, you should be able to:
- Create a federated model
- Run clash tests
- Create clash issues hosted on ACC

- Please make sure you have the Navisworks and Revit software loaded and installed.
