As we have 18 rises in our stairs,

we may decide that it would be preferable to have a land in midway.

So in order to add the landing in first,

we must select our stairs and then from the modify ribbon, we'll choose edit stairs.

So this takes us back into our create stare mode

and now we will reduce down this flight of stairs first.

So with the run selected, if we zoom in,

we can see here, we currently have 18 rises created

which we know because we created those before

and here we have the run the end grip. So we will drag this further down

to the midpoint

which will then prompt us to remove the constraint that we created earlier.

And we can see now that we have nine rises created.

If I deselect the run, I can see now that I have actual number of rises.

Nine desired number is 18 still.

So now we can move this run of stairs

back a little bit to give us the space to place our landing.

So with it selected, we'll choose move

and we move it back by four ft

and now we'll come and create the second drum

So from the ribbon, we'll choose the run tool.

This is set to be a straight sketch of rum.

so we can come down into our workspace.

I wanna set this temporary dimension to be four ft

and now we can draw the second half of the run

to finish off our 18 rises

The automatic landing option was selected.

So it's now created the landing for us between the two runs of stairs.

We can see we have a slight gap between the end of the stairs and the floor.

So we'll finish the stairs at this location

and now we'll use our align tool again. So from the modified tab,

we could choose the edge of the floor

and then the edge of the stairs

and we're gonna close the padlock once more to create that constraint.

we can see that we have our stairs created and we have the railings on either side,
