When migrating from InfoAsset Planner to Info360 Asset, there are a couple of ways to move your spatial data.
00:11
One of these options is to export shapefiles referenced in the InfoAsset Planner model from InfoAsset Planner,
00:18
and then import them into Info360 Asset.
00:21
Open your InfoAsset Planner project in ArcMap.
00:25
You can view which layers are being referenced by CoF and LoF analyses in the Catalog window.
00:33
Expand the InfoAsset Planner database.
00:36
In this example, the model is called FinishedProjectDB.gdb.
00:42
Locate the IMIC_Consequences and IMIC_Likelihood tables, and drag and drop each into the Table of Contents.
00:52
These tables contain the references to layers that were used in the risk analysis.
00:57
From the Table of Contents, right-click one of these tables and select Open.
01:02
In the Table window, locate the LayerFullName and LayerName fields.
01:07
These fields reference the layer or table used in the corresponding CoF or LoF analysis.
01:14
LayerFullName also shows the location of the layer, and specifies whether it is a shapefile or feature class, or if it points to the SDE location.
01:24
Note the Attribute field for any fields that are used to score the pipes in the LoF and CoF.
01:30
These fields will have to be mapped during the Info360 Asset import.
01:36
You can import these layers as shapefiles in Info360 Asset.
01:40
For this example, take note of the file location for the Waterbody layer.
01:45
As you can see, this layer is a feature class in a file geodatabase, so it will have to be converted to a shapefile.
01:54
Click Add Data.
01:57
In the Add Data dialog, navigate to the background layer file location, and then select Waterbody.
02:05
The layer is added to the Table of Contents.
02:09
Right-click the layer, and select Data > Export Data.
02:13
In the Export Data dialog, click the file location folder under Output feature class.
02:20
Select or create a folder to save the shapefile.
02:24
Add a Name of Waterbody.
02:26
Click Save, and then OK.
02:30
If you see a message asking if you want to add the exported data to the map as a layer, click No.
02:37
You are now ready to import this spatial data shapefile into Info360 Asset.
02:43
To start the import process, with an Info360 Asset project open, click the Data icon.
02:50
From the Spatial Data tab, click New Import.
02:54
Add the Layer Name of “Waterbody” and set the Data Source to Shapefile.
03:01
To import a shapefile, you need a single .zip file containing all the .shp, .shx, .dbf, and .prj files.
03:12
Click in the Drag and drop file here box to open your file browser.
03:16
Navigate to where you exported the Waterbody shapefile from InfoAsset Planner.
03:22
Select all of the Waterbody files, then right-click and select Send to > Compressed (zip) folder.
03:30
Select the newly created zip file, then click Open.
03:34
Map the fields that you are interested in seeing in Info360 Asset or using in CoF or LoF analysis that are based on spatial data attributes,
03:45
such as the ones in the Attribute field in the IMIC_Consequences and IMIC_Likelihoods tables.
03:52
In the table, click a row and select a Target Field.
03:58
Once the mapping is complete, click Import.
04:03
Add a Configuration name, such as “Config_Waterbody”, then click OK to start the import.
04:10
After the import is complete, the Import Complete popup opens, and you can choose to start a New Import or click I’m Done.
04:18
The Waterbody shapefile is now available on the Spatial Data tab.
