You have a few options on how you can purge items all
00:06
the way from one at a time to everything at once.
00:10
You can click on the box next to an individual item to
00:12
add it to the queue or on the entire category box.
00:16
Here, I'm selecting the bar scale block in the entire category.
00:20
You'll also notice
00:22
that this individual item has a visual representation.
00:25
So you'll see it in the preview window.
00:27
Once selected, click on the purge checked items button,
00:30
you'll get the confirmation box.
00:32
It will ask you whether to purge each item you have selected
00:36
unless you choose the second option,
00:37
which is to go ahead and purge all the checked items.
00:40
Let's click on that option.
00:42
The items will be immediately removed and you'll
00:44
see that the blocks category is now empty.
00:47
You can also click on the all items box to purge all categories.
00:51
This time will suppress the confirmation dialogue by deselecting.
00:54
Confirm each item to be purged in the options section.
00:58
Click on the purge checked items button
01:00
and all categories with pur
01:02
items will be removed.
01:04
Notice though
01:05
that all items are still selected and blocks line types and textiles
01:09
still have an expansion icon indicating there are items within these categories.
01:14
That's because they contained nested items.
01:17
You'll have to continue purging to remove them.
01:19
And perhaps even again and again, depending on the depth of the nested items.
01:24
Click on purge checked items again and the list will be
01:27
clear of expansion icons indicating that everything has been purged at
01:31
this point. Close the purge dialogue.
01:34
Let's set the drawing back to its original state complete with the items.
01:38
We've just purged
01:39
to do this. We're going to use a little known option of the undue command
01:43
type in undo on the command line. Then specify B for back,
01:48
you'll be warned that everything will be undone.
01:50
Well, that's what we want type Y for.
01:52
Yes at the prompt and your drawing will go back to how it was when you opened it.
