Hello and welcome to a brief overview of permissions in Autodesk's Workshop XR.
00:05
Permissions are handled in several different stages in ACC
00:09
with a host of interactions and levels that can be assigned dependent on your role.
00:14
You have permissions on the account level, the project level,
00:20
in our case, the workshop level, once one is created,
00:25
and finally, in the issue level located in your project settings.
00:30
A user's permissions for folders and issues in ACC directly impacts the content they can create
00:37
and the actions they can perform in a workshop that relates to files and issues.
00:41
Permissions for folders and issues in AC C directly influences permissions within Workshop XR.
00:48
Generally speaking, the highest level of access and functionality will be given to the administrator.
00:53
This is important to note since someone who is set as a manager at a higher level,
00:58
but set to the administrator at a lower level, will have limited access to certain tools and privileges.
01:04
So, keep that in mind,
01:05
Permissions can be set or changed in several areas:
01:09
when creating your project, when adding a person to your team or to your project,
01:15
and when looking at the permissions panel in your workshop.
01:18
Permissions are important as you navigate the needs of your team and other contributors to your projects.
