Step-by-step Guide
In InfoWorks WS Pro, each network object has a customizable base theme, so the user can control the look and feel of the GeoPlan, such as specifying symbols, colors, and labels. These details help increase the visibility of results and other model data.
- From the Model Group, Session 02, drag BridgeNet and drop it into the workspace to open the GeoPlan.
- In the Docking windows toolbar, click Thematic Key window.
The Thematic Key displays details about the current theme and contour settings, as well as other network display settings.
- Right-click the GeoPlan and select Properties & Themes.
In the GeoPlan Properties and Themes dialog box, Layers and Themes tab, network Object Layer settings can be changed by turning the options on or off.
- Click the Hydrant layer to highlight it.
- In the Theme column, in the Hydrant row, select Edit.
- OR in the Thematic Key window, double-click Hydrant.
- In the Hydrant dialog box, review and edit the desired settings.
- Close the Hydrant dialog box.
- In the GeoPlan Properties and Themes dialog box, open the Customer Points and Spatial Data tab.
- Under Customer Point Demand Assignment, select Not shown.
- Click Apply.
In the GeoPlan, the customer points no longer display.
- In the Properties and Themes dialog box, under Customer Point Demand Assignment, select Show assignment to pipes.
- Click Apply.
In the GeoPlan, the assignments display again.
- From the Properties and Themes dialog box, open the Auto Labels and Tooltips tab.
- In the Visible Range group, expand the Max drop-down and select a higher value.
- Click Apply.
In the GeoPlan, auto labels now display within the newly defined range.
- Set the Max range back to its original value.
- Click Apply.
- Open the Visual tab to view settings that control visual effects.
- Open the General tab to edit settings such as digitization mode and current map control.
