Project goals

ALTA wanted to replace its existing Solidworks seats with Autodesk Inventor Professional to optimize the mechanical design of its custom refrigeration solutions. Existing use of AutoCAD for controls design and general arrangements also needed to be optimized. Tying everything together, the priority project goal was to improve management and re-use of engineering data.

Solution

Repro Products provided custom training and is performing ongoing mentoring for Inventor Professional (including Routed systems) to address ALTA’s mechanical design challenges. Similarly, a custom curricula and ongoing mentoring for AutoCAD Electrical was delivered to optimize controls design. Revit training was delivered to enhance interaction with building contractors. Finally, Vault Basic was implemented to manage all the resulting engineering data.
