The investments the government has made in the civil infrastructure sector have seen many parties join the sector. The need to become more efficient to increase their profits in civil infrastructure space was their one and only concern.

Through our professional guidance, Norken International took our recommendation to take up the Autodesk AEC collection with the main software solutions for their workflows being Autodesk Civil 3D, Autodesk Infraworks and Autodesk BIM Collaborate Pro. Autodesk Infraworks – Autodesk Infraworks was recommended to Norken for both their preliminary designs as well as the final presentations to the clients. Autodesk Civil 3D – Autodesk Civil 3D was the main software for their infrastructure projects which mainly include roads. This was to enable them to produce detailed parametric designs of their corridors. Autodesk BIM Collaborate Pro – Autodesk BIM Collaborate Pro was also incorporated to assist with the collaborations and version controls

Since the adoption of the Autodesk AEC Collection and particularly Autodesk Civil 3D and Autodesk Infraworks, the design team is able to produce accurate and detailed designs accurately and timely. These greatly reduced the project turnaround times which means they can take up more projects. This meant that they did not have to hire external consultants which lowered their operational costs significantly.

With the adoption of the Autodesk Engineering software solutions bundled with training delivered to the client, they were able to transition to the new technology seamlessly. The CITECH team provided training on a live project with real-world data that had been collected by their survey team.
