Broadcast your expertise

Call for Proposals is your opportunity to submit a proposal to teach a class at Autodesk University. What expertise do you have to share with the AU community? Show us how you’re creating the new possible and helping to shape the future of your industry. To give your proposal the best chance of acceptance, align your class with the topics we’re most interested in for AU 2021. Check out the Proposal Requirements FAQ for a detailed list.

How it works

Call for Proposals opens March 30 and runs through April 30. Here’s the process:

  • Review the Proposal Requirements FAQ and choose from the trends and topics outlined.
  • Check out the sample proposals, especially if this is your first year submitting.
  • Write and revise your proposal using the Proposal Worksheet.
  • Submit your proposal using the online form.
  • Encourage your community to vote for your proposal (more details below).

Note that we’re currently accepting English language proposals for classes only. Stay tuned for additional information about other types of content and languages.

Community voting

Let us know which proposals you’d like to see become AU 2021 classes. Give a “thumbs up” to as many proposals as you like. Community voting is open now through May 12. As soon as a proposal is submitted, it’s eligible to receive votes from the community, so submit early for the chance to receive more votes. Community voting is only one factor that we consider when selecting classes for AU 2021, and an important way to make your voice heard.

AU 2021

AU 2021 will be a digital conference held this fall. We’ll miss the in-person connections, but we’ve heard from our community that many continue to face uncertainty around company travel policies and the risks of in-person gatherings. AU 2021 will be a new kind of experience and we’re still busy planning the conference. We’ll provide more information as it becomes available.
