Community Voting Is Open—Choose Your Favorite AU Las Vegas Class Proposals
And just like that—another AU Las Vegas Call for Proposals has officially closed. You answered the call with a remarkable turnout: we received over 2,400 proposals from over 1,100 community members in almost 50 countries. The industry focus was illuminating: 72% of this year’s proposals are from Architecture, Engineering & Construction; 19% from Design & Manufacturing; and 5% from Media & Entertainment, Software Development, and other industries.
Our sincere thanks to everyone who submitted a proposal. We know that it takes time, energy, thought, and courage to put yourself out there, and we truly appreciate it. Professionals sharing knowledge with other professionals is what the AU community is all about—to advance the conversation and keep innovation moving forward.
So, what’s next? We vote. We need your help in deciding which class proposals are most important. Community voting is open now through June 25.
Head over to the community voting page, search by criteria such as topic or product, browse the submissions, and give a thumbs-up to any proposal you’d like to see become a session in Vegas this November. You can only vote for a proposal once, but feel free to vote for as many as you like. As we say here at AU, vote early and vote often.
Whether you’re interested in facilities management and the cloud, project delivery and BIM, animation and 3ds Max, or something else entirely, you can view proposals specific to your focus. During community voting, all proposals are anonymous so you can evaluate the idea, not the speaker.
We’ll be reviewing community votes along with a range of other criteria to decide which proposals become classes. Thanks again to everyone who submitted proposals. Stay tuned for updates.
