Description

Navisworks 2015 project review software took a huge step forward with Quantification. This class will teach you how to create catalogs, access data properties in the model, perform 2D takeoff, create custom quantity formulas, override model quantities, and export the data to Microsoft Excel software.

    Kevin R. Miller, PhD, is the chair of the Construction and Facilities Management Program at Brigham Young University. He has worked as an estimator for several companies and has also been a certified trainer for Sage (formerly Timberline) Estimating software. Kevin has made presentations for Associated General Contractors (AGC), Associated Builders and Contractors, and American Society of Professional Estimators (ASPE) on both the state and national levels demonstrating how electronic documents can benefit the estimating process. He has presented regularly at Estimating Academy, sponsored by AGC and ASPE. Kevin is teaching Navisworks Quantification in his estimating classes. Quantity takeoffs, clash detections, and sequenced presentations are now at the estimator's fingertips.
