Autodesk Generative Design in Fusion 360 software has been a fast-moving train for more than a year. In this session, the Product Team would like to review the solution thus far and provide insight into our future development plans. This will be an opportunity to provide feedback on our plans, as well as share input on opportunities where you see generative design playing a role in your design-to-make workflows.

Speakers
Michael SmellMike is a Sr. Product Manager on the Fusion 360 team at Autodesk. He has been working on Fusion 360 for nearly 7 years and is currently responsible for the Generative Design portfolio. He has previous experience as a Technical Account Manager in Autodesk’s Manufacturing Named Accounts program, where he was working with customers to help them identify and solve business challenges with Autodesk solutions. Mike has spent nearly 17 years in the CAD and CAE industry, starting his career at Algor, Inc. in 2006, eventually being acquired by Autodesk in 2009. Mike holds a bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering from the Pennsylvania State University, a master’s in mechanical engineering from the University of Pittsburgh, and has completed a certification for Machine Learning in Business from the MIT Sloan School of Management.
