- MHMark HughesI am a licensed Architect and an airport design and construction digital delivery expert and holds Masters Degrees in both architecture and civil engineering. A subject matter expert in the Global Aviation Business Line, I am fully conversant in planning, design and construction of buildings and civil infrastructure and have been a leader in the practical application of the digital delivery process in the Design, Construction, and Facilities Management industries. I am knowledgeable of the use of BIM by owners, designers and contractors and have guided clients in setting expectations and integrating Digital Delivery Processes for comprehensive program development resulting in integrated maintenance and management activities.
- JBJohannes BjarnasonJóhannes Bjarni Bjarnason is a Civil Engineer and Department Manager for the Design & Construction department. With over two decades of experience in the construction industry, Jóhannes Bjarni has become known for his expertise in Building Information Modeling (BIM), having worked on large scale BIM projects for major clients in Norway and Iceland. He started working in the construction industry at the age of 15, gaining experience in carpentry and construction management. Jóhannes Bjarni earned his MSc from Denmark's Technical University in 2012 before starting his career as a BIM specialist in Norway's oil and industry sector. In 2015, he relocated to Iceland to take on the role of BIM Manager at Isavia, where he led the implementation of BIM processes and technical tools. Today, Jóhannes Bjarni is responsible for managing the Delivery team, overseeing all construction projects from design to completion and delivery to operations.
- BJBoyd JohnsonBoyd has over 25 years of experience in the AEC industry, specializing in data-driven delivery across the entire project lifecycle. His expertise encompasses managing complex multi-facility development projects and deploying advanced BIM, GIS, AM and PMIS systems in support of strategic planning of data capture, and Digital Twin standards for both private and government (municipal and federal) clients. Boyd excels in digitizing existing conditions using state-of-the-art capture technologies such as LiDAR and photogrammetry. He utilizes these technologies to create highly accurate, geospatially referenced models that serve as the foundation for comprehensive Digital Twins. His work involves developing and implementing rigorous data standards and protocols to ensure seamless integration and interoperability among various data sources. In his role, Boyd leads multidisciplinary teams in creating detailed 3D+ models that capture intricate details of the built environment. These Digital Twin models are designed to be fully compatible with multiple integration platforms, enabling real-time monitoring, simulation, and analysis of assets and capital planning. By integrating these diverse digital systems across large enterprise needs, Boyd ensures that the Digital Twins reflect dynamic changes in the physical environment, operational conditions, and capital planning. The Digital Twins developed under Boyd's leadership are leveraged by Owners and Operators to enhance decision-making, optimize maintenance strategies, and improve overall operational efficiency. His approach allows stakeholders to perform predictive analysis, manage lifecycle costs, and achieve greater transparency and control over their assets. Boyd's expertise in integrating diverse data sets into cohesive Digital Twins ensures his clients receive actionable insights and value throughout the entire lifecycle of their projects.
- NSNigel StroudNigel has worked for 33 years in the construction industry, Implementing Digital Asset Information strategies and evangelising in efficient data workflows. His focus is always on a single source of data, retaining value and providing decision making capabilities for a diverse customer base. As a practitioner, he has adopted a 'keep it real' approach enabling usable and sustainable solutions to be adopted. His manufacturing and assembly background have utilised his analytical skills to develop and implement time saving processes. He was privileged to have worked for the duration of Heathrow's Terminal 5 and Terminal 2 programmes, setting up and on-going management of the Common Data Environment and digital deliverable processes. He is currently working on implementing a companywide digital asset information change strategy.
