The profound shift toward flexible work in recent years has significantly changed the way we use buildings. Owners and operators are under immense pressure to support the core business and achieve sustainability targets while keeping costs down, but most lack the big-picture utilization data they need to inform short- and long-term portfolio planning. Using proprietary worktech data, we've analyzed global trends in workspace and physical asset use over the past several quarters to identify emerging patterns in operations and occupant behaviors. The analysis uncovers four preeminent tensions businesses are navigating in today's workplaces. Session participants will learn what changes are occurring across three core regions (Americas, EMEA, and APAC), and how organizations are leveraging this information alongside dynamic building models to meet goals at all phases of the building life cycle.

    Meg Swanson has more than 20 years of working with customers pushing the limits on their built environments. As the Chief Market Officer of Eptura, Meg brings extensive expertise in helping owners and operators get the most out of their facilities by connecting them with IoT, Digital Twin, AI, digital handovers between construction and owner/operators, and corporate real estate. She constantly works with customers to help them get the most out of their environments to empower their team members to reach their full potential. She has worked with customers while in executive leadership roles at IBM, Steelcase, Internet Security Systems, Accruent and Eptura.
