Description
This class offers an in-depth look at how to use VRED software as a platform with diverse output types serving a wide range of needs from one source. We’ll show best practices for assembling and preparing one master file, including geometrical data, materials, animation, and interactive elements from various CAD and DCC applications (for example, Fusion 360 software, Maya software, and Revit software). We’ll also show how this holistic data set can be used for virtual reality (VR) and mixed reality (MR); for real-time, physical, accurate ray tracing streamed to mobile devices; or to create rendered animations and still images. This class will focus on automotive, but also deal with data and workflows from different industries and disciplines.
Key Learnings
- Learn how to import and prepare your data from different CAD and DCC sources directly in VRED
- Learn how to enrich your model with materials, environments, animations, and interactions
- Learn how to use your data for VR real-time rendering and CGI image production
- Learn how to use the same source of data for XR and mobile
