AU 2020 Call for Proposals: Languages, Deadlines, and Community Voting
2020 is no ordinary year, and AU 2020 will be no ordinary AU conference. It will be a global digital experience for the worldwide AU learning community to come together in new ways for four days of learning, connecting, and exploring the future of our industries. We’ll be able to share knowledge and build community—and in more languages than ever before. We want you to be a part of it. Here’s what you need to know.
Submit proposals in English by June 22
You can submit an English-language proposal to teach a class, give a Theater talk, or write an article through June 22. What have you done that makes you a leader in your industry? How are you using technology to make your processes smarter, faster, and more sustainable? What recent projects have you worked on that can shine a light for others? We want to hear about it.
Read the AU 2020 CFP Guide, even if you’ve spoken at AU before—many aspects and requirements are different due to this year’s new digital format.
Submit proposals in other languages by July 9
This year, AU speakers will be able to share their expertise in multiple languages. Now through July 9, you can submit a proposal to teach a class, give a Theater talk, or write an article in German, Japanese, French, Chinese (simplified), or Spanish.
Don’t see your preferred language? You can submit proposals in additional languages using the English form.
Activate your AU London proposal to be considered for AU 2020
If you submitted a proposal for AU London earlier this year, you don’t need to resubmit your proposal; however, you do need to complete the submission process by activating your proposal in the global system. The deadline is June 22. Check your email for instructions or contact AU Speaker Management at au.speaker@autodeskuniversity.com.
Vote for your favorite proposals until July 13
English-language proposals have been coming in, and the community has been voting for their favorites—but it’s not over yet. We’re adding new proposals every week. Make your voice heard on the submissions that you’d like to see become classes. Community voting is open until July 13.
Head over to the community voting page, then sort by product, topic, focus, industry, or search by speaker name or keyword. You can only vote for each class once, but you can vote for as many classes as you want.
Stay tuned—as additional details about the AU 2020 global digital experience become available, we’ll share updates here on the blog. In the meantime, if you have questions, check the FAQ.
