Industry 4.0 is revolutionizing manufacturing with automation, data analytics, and advanced technologies. To meet the demands of this rapidly changing landscape, educators must update their curricula and teaching methods to equip students with the skills needed for a successful career in modern manufacturing. 

After completing these courses, youll be able to:  

  • Describe the fundamentals of sustainability and its critical role in modern manufacturing. 
  • Understand Industry 4.0 and the remaining challenges from Industry 3.0. 
  • Summarize the business and economic drivers sparking change and impact towards Industry 4.0. 
  • Define digital literacy and how it connects to digital manufacturing and data skills. 
  • Apply digital manufacturing skills using Fusion, including generative design, CAM 2.5 and 3-axis milling, CAM additive manufacturing, and simulation.
