The Sun hours analysis in Forma calculates how many hours of sunlight your site will get on specific dates.

With a project open, from the right panel, select Sun hours.

This panel updates to display the Sun hours analysis.

Here, you can specify the area you want to analyze, as well as the dates for the analysis to run.

To choose the area, click the Selection tab.

This opens the Select analysis areas dialog.

You can choose from the available options to run the analysis for the entire site,

or you can define a larger zone to see the impact on the neighboring buildings.
