Navigate the InfraWorks user interface

Navigate through the InfraWorks user interface.

The InfraWorks Home page provides easy access to project management, help, and account features.

To display IntraWorks Home, simply open the application.

Or, if you are already running it and working a model, click Switch to Home—the I button.

Hover the cursor over a model tile for more information.

Click a model tile to open it.

Or start a new model using Model Builder, New, or Open.

Click Model Builder to autogenerate a model.

Click New to start a new model manually, or click Open to open an existing model from your system.

Expand the drop-down menu to filter your models by their associated BIM 360 Document Management projects.

Once you have selected a model, InfraWorks Home closes, and the canvas appears with the model centered and zoomed to extents.

The toolbar provides intuitive tools specific to your phase of work, tools for cloud collaboration,

and tools that you can use across many phases of work.

The Project Tools provide a set of planning, design, analysis,

and presentation tools appropriate for the phase of work being done in your model.

You can click Manage, Create, Analyze, or Present/Share to display the subset of tools that apply to that specific phase of work.

The toolbar also contains utilities tools related to cloud, application, options, and your Autodesk accounts,

as well as some common actions you will use across phases of your work.

Here, you can click the corresponding icon to Undo or Redo actions,

Set Application Options to specify settings such as default units of measurement, language, and level of display detail.

Beneath the toolbar is the project space or canvas, also called the model space.

You can also navigate your model using the ViewCube, a persistent, clickable,

and draggable interface that you use to switch between standard and isometric views of your model.

Features that you add to your project are selectable.

Click a feature in the model to view its attributes in the Stack.

Click Settings to customize the visibility of attributes in the Stack.

To deselect the currently selected feature, click Away.
