Adjust person parameters to control physical distancing in your InfraWorks simulation model
Type:
Tutorial
Length:
1 min.
Transcript
00:03
In InfraWorks, you can adjust person parameters to control physical distancing in an InfraWorks Mobility Simulation model.
00:11
In the first image, you see a tightly bunched group of pedestrians on a walkway.
00:17
The people are standing so closely together because, in the Person Types dialog, on the Size tab, the Space is set to 0.30 meters.
00:27
You can adjust the pedestrian spacing in a Mobility Simulation model by simply increasing this value.
00:33
The Person Types dialog can be accessed from the Parameters menu by selecting People.
00:41
For this example, on the Size tab, the Space is increased to 5 meters.
00:46
As you can see in the second image, the simulated agents are now spaced more appropriately,
00:52
and those pedestrians will maintain that same spacing as they move through the simulation.
