Adjust walkway parameters to control physical distancing in your InfraWorks simulation model.
Transcript
00:03
In InfraWorks, there are two ways to adjust walkway parameters to control physical distancing in your Mobility Simulation model.
00:11
In the first method, the walkway is divided into shorter sections and the Private functionality is enabled.
00:18
These settings can be accessed by right-clicking and selecting Adjust to open the Adjust dialog.
00:25
Selecting Private means that only one pedestrian can enter any given walkway section at a time, thus controlling pedestrian traffic flow.
00:33
In the first image, you see the result of these settings, with people spaced accordingly.
00:40
The second way you can adjust walkway parameters for distancing purposes is to set the Capacity value, also from the Adjust dialog.
00:48
In this case, the walkway is not divided into sections, as previously,
00:53
but the Capacity is set to 3, so that no more than 3 people can enter the walkway at once, as shown in the second image.
01:00
You can use either of these two methods to limit the number of people on walkways
01:05
and control physical distancing in your Mobility Simulation model.
