Remove visuals from a report or from Power BI

Delete visuals from your Power BI dashboard and remove the Autodesk Data Connector custom visual from Power BI.

Using the Power BI Connector with an Autodesk Data Exchange enables you to visualize and analyze your data and models within Power BI.

If you have created visuals that you no longer need, you can delete them from your dashboard,

and you can remove custom visuals from Power BI entirely.

Start in the Power BI desktop application, with an imported Data Exchange, the Autodesk Data Connector viewer loaded, and visuals created.

For this example, you see a Stacked Column Chart and a Slicer visual.

To remove a visual, such as the chart, select it on the dashboard, and then, on your keyboard, press DELETE.

The report updates and the visual is removed.

Custom visuals, including the viewer, can be removed from the dashboard in the same way.

To remove the Autodesk Data Connector or any custom visual from the Power BI application entirely,

from the Visualizations pane, click the More (…) menu, and then select Remove a visual.

When the Confirmation dialog appears, click Remove again to confirm.
