Description
In this hands-on lab, users will learn advanced customization for new and improved Drawing Styles, suiting specific requirements for detail drawings. We will cover improved beam symbol object presentation; beam alignment information in object label and continuous leader lines; improved leader line creation for labels at 45 degrees on plan/elevation views; enhanced manual dimensions on nonstandard points; manual radial dimension preferred snap points; manual adjustment of grid extension lines to avoid overlapping balloons; symbol presentation for node drawing border clipping lines; the new engineering category added in the Drawing Styles palette; new behavior for non-stand-alone defaults set the defaults in Management Tools; added simplified script contents in the Drawing Process Manager; and particular font symbol characters in the labels created. This class will include a walk-through of the workflow involved in using the new detailing styles, with explanations of options and settings, covering specific scenarios. This session features Advance Steel and AutoCAD.
