Description
This session will look at a process with an in-house tool developed among other things with Autodesk Platform Services technologies allowing users to inject a Revit /IFC model into Power BI in just minutes, in order to visualize and exploit the data for different use cases (engineering and site work team). In this session, we'll view and export Bill of Quantities, check the data (automatic coloration depending of the value of the data), link to another database as an SOA (schedule of accommodation) to compare with the model and track it, and link to the schedule of the project to do a "4D."
Key Learnings
- Discover how it's possible to give a lot of people access to models without knowledge of 3D software and without significant hardware.
- Learn about the potential of Autodesk Platform Services for main contractor and engineering teams in construction.
- Learn that it is possible to link different databases with the model directly in Power BI.
