Description
Attendees will learn about the real issues involved with rolling new technology out to field teams. We’ll cover the overall view of technology within field operations staff. We’ll go over a brief history of mobile technology, where we’ve come from, and where we’ll be going in the next 10 years. We will present a use case at Hudson yard where we rolled out PlanGrid in the field, and we’ll go over why it worked, what struggles we had, and what major lessons we learned. And we will cover how to develop a technology implantation plan and conduct a tech rollout.

Robert KippRobert Kipp, as the General Superintendent is responsible for all aspects of on-site coordination, quality control, labor relations, and safe work practices for all phases of construction work. Mr. Kipp is an industry leader in technology integration and implantation. Mr. Kipp brings years of construction field supervision experience in the New York Metro and the D.C Metro areas. He has successfully delivered projects in the heavy civil, residential, commercial, institutional and mixed use arenas. He holds multiple industry certifications and accreditations. Prior to Mr. Kipp's involvement in the construction industry he served as a Captain in the United States Army. He completed two tours of duty in Iraq for Operation Iraq Freedom. Mr. Kipp holds a Masters Degree in Construction Administration from Columbia University, a BA from Norwich University, and is an Eagle Scout.
