- KMKevin MillerKevin R. Miller, PhD, is the chair of the Construction and Facilities Management Program at Brigham Young University. He has worked as an estimator for several companies and has also been a certified trainer for Sage (formerly Timberline) Estimating software. Kevin has made presentations for Associated General Contractors (AGC), Associated Builders and Contractors, and American Society of Professional Estimators (ASPE) on both the state and national levels demonstrating how electronic documents can benefit the estimating process. He has presented regularly at Estimating Academy, sponsored by AGC and ASPE. Kevin is teaching Navisworks Quantification in his estimating classes. Quantity takeoffs, clash detections, and sequenced presentations are now at the estimator's fingertips.
- SLStuart LangeStuart Lange is a tech-savvy construction professional with a drive to spread efficiency to all those around him. He grew up working in the carpentry trades where he developed his passion for the construction industry. He received a BS in construction management with a minor in business from Brigham Young University, and then began working at C.W. Driver as an estimator in 2011. He has mastered several different software programs, including Revit software, Navisworks software, Quantity Takeoff software, Bluebeam Revu, On-Screen Takeoff, SketchUp, Sage Timberline Estimating, and Microsoft Excel. He has been the resident expert on estimating using Building Information Modeling (BIM) and on teaching these software programs to his co-workers. Stuart is passionate about technology and is passionate about being more efficient with its use in the industry.
