AU 2023 Call for Proposals Is Open
How are you connecting the entire design and make lifecycle, from design to done? How are you building your skillset—and also developing a mindset that can help you adapt to accelerating transformation? How are you creating projects that are better for people, the planet, and the bottom line?
The AU 2023 Call for Proposals is now open and we want to hear how you’re contributing to the transformation of your industry. Whether it’s it a smarter workflow, a new way to use technology, or a way to reimagine how you serve clients and customers, we want to know how you’re going beyond the expected and creating new possibilities for design and make.
What’s new for AU 2023
AU is the design and make conference that brings together practitioners, innovators, and thought leaders from the fields of architecture, engineering, construction, manufacturing, and media to share how they’re adapting to challenges and seizing opportunities—creating better projects in ways that are better for people, the planet, and the bottom line. AU is how we transform together—as a community.
AU 2023 will be a hybrid event, with the in-person conference in Las Vegas and the digital conference both happening November 13-15. Speakers whose proposals are accepted will be expected to participate in both, creating a digital version of their class in advance and leading their session in front of a live audience in Las Vegas.
We’re looking to balance technical learning and thought leadership. Both types of sessions are welcome—just clarify whether yours will deliver workflows and concrete tips, or whether it will focus on industry trends and business strategy.
Tell us how and why. We want all sessions to focus on business outcomes—the measurable value that can be achieved by adopting your process, approach, or insight. In other words, share your process, but also the reasons you adopted it.
