Let's look at the traces that our team has already added.
00:07
The easiest way to open a trace is to simply click on it.
00:10
Let's click on mec room changes
00:12
the trace will highlight in the palette and the trace editor
00:15
will be displayed zoomed into the area of the trace objects.
00:19
Here we see that our teammate, Chris wants to expand the mechanical room
00:23
just like us. He added a note and a cloud
00:25
but notice that he's also drawn in the proposed change,
00:29
perhaps it's been agreed to and it's your job to make the change.
00:32
Let's send the trace to the back, making the drawing active.
00:36
We'll do that by clicking on the trace toggle icon in the toolbar.
00:39
You'll see that the trace objects are now faded
00:42
at this point. You can go ahead and extend the wall using your favorite editing tools
00:47
you could draw on top of the proposed new wall, but you can't snap to it.
00:51
But as a reference, it's nice to have,
00:53
let's look at Chris's other
00:55
choice.
00:56
You can only have one trace shown at a time.
00:58
So let's close this one by clicking on the X in the toolbar
01:02
click on the trace named door edition.
01:05
This time we're going to add to or contribute to his trace.
01:09
What I will add will be new as I can't edit chris' trace.
01:13
I'll put in a piece of text below his
01:15
saying that the lead architect has rejected his idea.
01:18
When I add my contribution and close and reopen the trace.
01:22
You'll see that my user icon overlaps with Chris's.
01:25
This is your indication that multiple people have contributed to that trace.
01:30
You can see who all those people are by clicking on the toolbars user icon,
01:35
you can even toggle their contribution on or off by clicking on the icon on the left.
01:40
However, you aren't able to toggle your own.
01:43
And since you're the owner of your own contributions,
01:46
you'll also get a menu item that lets you
01:47
remove your contributions in the right click trace menu.
01:51
Let's close the door edition trace.
