00:12
Begin with the Autodesk Construction Cloud open to the desired project.
00:16
Expand the product picker and select Docs.
00:20
The first time you access Docs after you create a project, ACC opens the welcome screen and overall Project list.
00:28
Locate and select the project name to open it.
00:32
Here, you see the project open in Docs with the Files tool selected, with the project name at the top of the interface.
00:39
Every project starts with a default folder called Project Files, in which you can start building your directory structure.
00:47
To add subfolders, click the More menu and choose Add subfolder.
00:53
Type a name, such as “Photos”, and then click the checkmark to create the folder.
00:58
Repeat the process to create another folder named “Documents”, and one named “Plan Sheets”.
01:04
Note that you can also right-click a folder to access the commands available in the More menu.
01:10
Follow the same process to create a subfolder within a subfolder, just as you would on your local server or hard drive.
01:17
Also note that, since Civil 3D recognizes the folders that are set up in ACC,
01:23
this not only saves time, but also ensures consistency across projects within the same account.
01:29
Now that you know how to create folders and subfolders, you are ready to begin adding files to your folder directory.
