BIM 360 Document Management Integration with BIM 360 Model Coordination

Description

This demonstration will highlight the new unified BIM 360 experience, focusing on BIM 360 Document Integration with the new BIM 360 Model Coordination web application (which replaces functionality from the BIM 360 Glue Class app). We will walk through setting up a new unified BIM 360 project and activating the BIM 360 Document Management and the BIM 360 Model Coordination services. We’ll demonstrate how these 2 applications can work hand in hand with each other to streamline coordination with Revit software (via BIM 360 Design), Navisworks software, and AutoCAD software-based models. And we will demo the individual features of both applications.

    I am a technical specialist on the BIM 360 support team in our Technical Support group at Autodesk. I work out of the Portland, Oregon office and I have been with Autodesk for five years. During that time I have supported Revit, Plant 3D, AutoCAD, Navisworks, ReCap, and BIM 360. I am also a certified technical writer and I have hosted several AutoCAD and BIM 360 webinars as well as presented BIM 360 courses at AU.

I am Autodesk product user for more than 20 years. I received my Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from University of Massachusetts, Lowell, MA. I have 15 plus years of experience working in Civil/Construction industry and worked on several small to large size projects. I was involved on many highway design projects (The Central Artery/Tunnel Project (BIG Dig), Manchester–Boston Regional Airport, NHFG, Broad Street Parkway, NH) for Large and Small clients including DOT and municipal clients.
