- CRChristopher RippinghamAs an integral member of the Technology and Innovation Leadership Group at DPR Construction, Chris is responsible for the development of long-term technology strategies and the implementation of enterprise platforms for DPR’s subsidiaries and international construction group. Chris joined DPR Construction in 2007 and has become a thought leader in construction technology through his demonstrated success in various operations, virtual design and construction and technology roles.
- DSDaniel SmoliloDan Smolilo is the Director of Process and Innovation for The Walsh Group. In this role, Dan leads the organization in integrating technology advancements throughout operations by promoting, educating and implementing process improvements. As part of the overall Quality Service Group, Dan works closely with service groups, project teams, and Regional Technology and Quality Champions to streamline our construction processes such as design collaboration, document management, and construction technologies that make our work safer, more efficient, and productive. Dan worked on various complex projects on the East Coast and over the last few years has helped foster the growth and integration of construction technologies throughout the organization. In the industry, Dan is a leader pushing for change as Thought Leadership Chair for the Construction Progress Coalition and sits on various other technology advisory committees in the industry.

- KSKaryn SteekampKaryn Steenkamp, Vice President of Design & Construction of Caesars Entertainment in Las Vegas, has been with the company for over 13 years. She manages the Design and Construction department of 30+ employees, including Directors over Design, Preconstruction/Estimating, FF&E Procurement, Project Management and Cost Controls, as well as working with Capital Planning on annual and long-range project planning and training the next generation in project management, leadership skills, corporate culture and values. Most recently, Steenkamp managed the design and construction of the rebranding of the Imperial Palace at the new LINQ Hotel, a $223 million project, as well as the Caesars Palace Convention Center and Pool Expansion, a $150 million project. She also plays an integral role with CAESARS FORUM, a $375 million, 550,000 square-foot conference facility, featuring the two largest pillarless ballrooms in the world and FORUM Plaza – the first 100,000 square-foot outdoor meeting and event space in Las Vegas opening in 2020. Previous to Caesars Entertainment, Steenkamp was the Structural Design Engineer for seven years at SWBR Architects located in Rochester, NY, where she worked with architects and engineers to develop structural systems from concept through construction and was responsible for the structural design of buildings from the foundation to the roof. At SWBR Architects, Steenkamp spearheaded the expansion of the University of Rochester Laser Energetic Laboratory which earned an AIA Citation of Merit Award as a result. Steenkamp received her Bachelor of Science, Civil Engineering at the University of Buffalo in New York, majoring in Civil, Structural and Environmental Engineering. She is a LEED accredited professional and lives in Las Vegas.
