Description

This presentation will focus on how the UA is developing skilled labor by BIM integration into their training to meet the needs of the plumbing, mechanical and fire protection contractors. We will show how we have taken a scan to BIM project and developed additional uses in training including plan reading, safety training, point layout, virtual design and scan to BIM. We will also discuss our recruitment efforts to expand our membership to meet the needs of the construction industry utilizing the latest technology and creating multiple career paths for our members. The UA is excited to bring this presentation to Autodesk University to show how our partnership with Autodesk and many others has expanded our training and uplifted our members and created career paths that are changing the construction industry.
