The sheet set and its sheets, all have properties that you can set.
00:07
They can become extremely valuable when using the
00:09
sheet set manager to help manage your projects.
00:12
There are four categories these properties fall into.
00:15
There are standard properties that are built into both
00:18
an individual sheet and the sheet set itself.
00:21
You can also define your own custom properties that can be assigned
00:24
to either an individual sheet or to the sheet set object.
00:28
Let's start by opening the one
00:30
master plan drawing by either right,
00:33
clicking on it and clicking open or by double clicking it.
00:37
I'll keep my palette floating and on the left side of the screen
00:40
and zoom into the title block area of the drawing and pan it to the right
00:44
to follow along.
00:46
I'd suggest setting your display in a similar manner.
00:50
The first thing we'll look at are the built in properties of a sheet set object,
00:54
right? Click on the top level sheet set, civil project and select properties.
00:59
The sheet set properties, dialogue will be displayed.
01:02
You'll see three sections,
01:03
sheet set data, project control and sheet creation.
01:07
We're interested in the project control section
01:10
here you can set project wide properties such as the project number,
01:14
the name phase or milestone.
01:17
Let's set the project number.
01:18
I'll use 1234567,
01:21
but feel free to use your favorite number if you like
01:23
click, OK, and save the change and dismiss the dialogue.
01:27
Next, we'll look at an individual sheet's properties.
01:30
We'll use our currently opens sheet one
01:33
master plan,
01:34
access its properties in the same way via the right click menu.
01:38
You'll see there's only one section here. The sheet itself
01:42
within it are a sheet's built in properties.
01:44
This is where you can define its title, its number in the set,
01:48
revision info, issuance and category.
