Import existing control points into your project using the Import Control Points dialog in Autodesk Point Layout.

In Autodesk Point Layout, the Import Points tool allows you to import existing control points into your project.

With a project open, right-click in the model space and select Point Layout > Import Points.

In the Import Location Points from File dialog, click Select File to Import.

Browse to and select the .csv file containing the point system you want to use.

You may receive a notification that the file coordinate import order is different from the one selected in the dialog,

and that the import order was automatically adjusted.

Click OK.

Deselect any points that you do not want to import.

Click Coordinate System, and in the dialog that opens, select the name of the system you are currently using.

Click OK twice to close the dialogs.

Back in the model space, press the keyboard shortcut C for control point, and the control points are imported into your job.
