As the UK construction industry moves swiftly into a BIM-driven era, the knowledge and skills required by new entrants (graduates) to design and construct buildings using the BIM process is ever more important. This instructional demo is about BIM 360 Docs and BIM 360 Glue. It is presented from the perspective of how a higher institution of learning can use these technologies to enrich the teaching and learning experiences of AEC students and is based on the expectations and guidelines of Level 2 BIM as set out in PAS1192-2. The experiences and feedback from students will also be shared.

- DADr Zulfikar Aliyu AdamuZulfikar Adamu is an associate professor of Strategic IT in Construction at London South Bank University (LSBU). He holds BTech and MTech degrees in Architecture from Federal University of Technology (FUT) Minna, Nigeria; an MSc in Architectural Engineering from King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals (KFUPM) Saudi Arabia; as well as a PhD in Civil and Building Engineering from Loughborough University, UK. He worked briefly in a professional architectural practice in Nigeria and was formerly a lecturer in KFUPM, Saudi Arabia. He joined Loughborough University in 2013, leading the integration of BIM into the taught degree programmes. He is currently piloting the use of BIM 360 family of products in the curriculum. He is a BIM Accredited Professional (BRE) and a Unity3D certified game developer. His specialisation covers computer applications in the design and construction of buildings including BIM, construction data analytics, and virtual and augmented reality applications.
