Description
This class focuses on the BIM workflows that enabled and supported the construction phase of the M25 highway infrastructure project. We demonstrate how BIM technology and workflows were used to increase the productivity and make best use of the 3D model data from the design phase during the construction phase of the project. We explain the process workflows related to 3D coordination and existing conditions modeling that was developed using Infrastructure Design Suite software components such as Navisworks® Manage and InfraWorks™ and their implementation strategies. We also discuss about how the workflows have contributed towards achieving higher efficiencies, reducing risk, and increasing profitability in this project.
