- TKThomas KempA Registered Architect and BIM Specialist, Tom pushes the practical boundaries of BIM technology in RATIO’s architectural practice. He is responsible for driving value through the application of technology by identifying project and client needs, specifying solutions, and establishing the business value of solutions. Focusing on Revit and Building Information Modeling since the beginning 2004, Tom has been involved with implementing and managing design technology at a number of firms. RATIO’s team of BIM Specialists are responsible for the adoption of BIM technology throughout the firm, defining and maintaining standards, seeking out innovative and efficient best practices, and training users. With more than 20 years of experience in architecture, Tom has spoken across the country at Autodesk University, BILT NA and various Association of General Contractor events on issues related to BIM, innovation and technological change in the AEC industry.
- Angie DoyleAngie Doyle is a BIM Specialist in RATIO’s Champaign, IL, design studio. Her role focuses on training, consultation, content creation, and day-to-day project assistance in Champaign and across the firm. An Autodesk Certified Instructor, Revit Professional, and Accredited BIMscript Developer, Angie has presented at multiple Boston Revit Users Groups, participated in the Boston Design Technology Throwdown, and taught courses including Revit Essentials for those transitioning from AutoCAD to Revit. Prior to joining RATIO, Angie worked at Microdesk as a BIM consultant for large-scale, complex design projects across the United States, providing production assistance and developing custom training manuals, implementation plans, and standards guides. She also worked with manufacturers to develop industry standard best practice content for BIMobject (Previously Autodesk SEEK), Sweets, and directly for manufacturers. Angie lives on her Central Illinois hobby farm with 1 llama, 4 donkeys, ~46 chickens, 2 cats, and a dog.
