Let's run the W block command again.
00:05
We use the bottom entry which is called objects,
00:08
click on it and you'll see the base point and objects sections become active.
00:13
Let's consider a scenario this time,
00:15
it's your task to copy the Cyan terraces
00:18
at the ends of each wing to another floor, which currently does not have them.
00:23
You decided to write them into a new file that
00:25
you can easily insert into the other floor plan drawing.
00:28
Let's go ahead and select both terraces.
00:30
Click on the select objects button
00:33
using a crossing window, select both sets of terraces
00:36
press enter to exit object selection.
00:39
You should see the objects section change to reflect 304 objects selected.
00:44
We want to leave our drawing as is.
00:47
So keep the retain button selected.
00:49
You also have the option to convert them into a block or to delete them.
00:53
Since the new
00:54
terraces file will be inserted into the exact
00:57
same coordinates in the other floor plan,
00:59
we'll keep our base point at 00.
01:02
That way
01:02
you can easily insert it into the next plan at 00
01:06
and it will go into its original location attached to the ends of the wings,
01:10
verify your file path.
01:12
It should be the same as your previous right block.
01:14
The file name will read new block.
01:16
You can change it here or be like me and go ahead and create the file,
01:20
then rename it afterwards.
01:22
Either method works.
01:23
Let's go ahead and rename it here.
01:25
I'll highlight the file name in path box and
01:28
change the default of new block to terraces.
01:31
Leave your insert units as inches and click. Ok? To create the file
01:36
here, we can see it in our folder.
