Change the workspace from the default location to a new location on your local drive.

The Desktop Connector workspace refers to the physical location where your projects are stored

and then synced to the cloud in a connector, such as Autodesk Docs.

You can easily change the location of this workspace from the default to a location of your choosing.

First, open a File Explorer window, where your connector appears as a local system drive.

To find the exact location of your workspace, select a folder within the connector,

then click in the address bar to the right of the folder names.

To change your workspace location,

in the tray, right-click Desktop Connector, expand Help, and click Change Workspace.

A warning shows that you are unable to change your workspace,

because you must remove projects. Click OK.

To resolve this, right-click Desktop Connector and click Select Projects.

In the Select Projects dialog, My Selections tab,

deselect any projects shown to clear out your current workspace.
