Select cloud data to sync with your desktop using Desktop Connector

Select the cloud data that you want Desktop Connector to sync with your desktop.

Autodesk Desktop Connector creates a virtual drive that serves as a bridge between the local file system and data in the Autodesk cloud.

Once you have created a project in the cloud, you can add it to this virtual drive in order to keep the files synced with your desktop.

In your system tray, right-click the Desktop Connector icon, and click Select Projects.

In the Select Projects dialog, you can choose up to 60 projects to keep synced in local virtual folders using your connector

Expand the Project hub folder, enable the project(s) you want to sync, and click Save.

The Connect Project dialog displays, indicating that selected projects are being added to File Explorer.

Click OK.

In a File Explorer window, under Autodesk Docs, the project has been added.

In the project folder, double-click Project Files.

All the folders here are cloud-based, indicated in the Status column.

Now that the Autodesk cloud project is added to your local drive,
