Desktop Connector enables a simple workflow for adding your Inventor files,

Be aware that if you drag and drop Inventor files to Desktop Connector,

To ensure that you include references with the Inventor files,

use the Desktop Connector Upload Files and References tool.

To access this tool, right-click the Desktop Connector icon and select Upload Files and References .

In the Upload Files and References dialog, identify the location of your local data first.

Click Browse next to Local data location, and then select your Inventor file—in this case, Razor.iam.

The Select an Inventor Project File dialog displays to help you find your project file.

Click Browse (…) and select the file—in this case, Razor.ipj.
