- NCNicole De CiccoNicole leads the marketing and communications of Digital Node, a BIM based consultancy based in the UK and Australia, providing insight to the Construction industry on the strategic, management and technical implementation of BIM. With clients all over the world Nicole's role at Digital Node is to ensure that the business communicates its main intentions across social media and to our clients. Nicole has a background in communications and therefore works to build the brand for Digital Node. Although Nicole does not have a background in Construction she is well versed in BIM related methodologies and supports Digital Node in their not for profit efforts all over the world acting as a core team member to both the Women in BIM initiative and more locally manages BIM-SA, an Australian not for profit group who run events across Australia sharing knowledge and insight in BIM.
- Kate TowneAs a global engineering firm, TYLin designs infrastructure solutions that connect and elevate communities. Kate's role on the TYLin Design Technology + Operations team is to connect people with the digital tools that support their workflow and innovations. She previously served as the Digital Design Manager for Silman, a TYLin Company, and as a Technical Marketing Manager for Autodesk, Inc. She has over 20 years' experience with Autodesk products, served on AUGI's Board of Directors from 2013 to 2018 (including as President 2017-2018), and has presented at numerous technical events, including Revit DC, BILT North America, Midwest University, and several Autodesk University conferences.
- MTMelissa ThiessensMelissa has been with GSBS Architects in Salt Lake City, Utah since 2005. Early on she helped the firm transition from AutoCAD to Revit and has continued her role there as BIM Manager, continually looking for better ways to do things. She has worked on projects for clients ranging from higher education and commercial to hospitality and justice. In her spare time she has taught classes in both AutoCAD and Revit at Salt Lake Community College, was a co-speaker at RTCna in 2014, participated in Autodesk Inside the Factory events in Boston and Shanghai, and has sat on local college program advisory committees as well as being involved with the local RUG, and is currently on the Building Content Summit Committee
- Purvi IrwinPurvi supports professionals across all disciplines with BIM technologies, which includes teaching Revit, creating content, developing workflows and standards, troubleshooting issues, and finding creative solutions to both design and modeling problems. She has 20+ years of experience, most spent as a preservation project architect, where she specialized in using innovative technologies to facilitate the documentation and rehabilitation of institutional buildings, and 16+ years of Revit experience working with existing buildings (most historic), from conceptual design, through construction administration and project close-out. Purvi is a registered architect with degrees in both Architecture and Historic Preservation and was a board member on the Alexandria Board of Architectural Review in Alexandria, VA. She has presented at many conferences over the years, including 3 AU conferences, BILTna, BILTanz, DesignDC, AIA National Conference, ArchEX conference, the APTI Annual Conference, and local AIA chapter events. - Rebecca De CiccoRebecca De Cicco has always had a keen interest in digital technologies and how they can radically change the way we work and interact in the Built Environment. Having studied and been employed in Australia as an Architect the basis for her experience involved managing and training teams and moving into BIM Management as a career. Rebecca lived in the UK for almost 10 years and following a series of successful senior roles in varied architectural organisations, Rebecca founded her own consultancy, Digital Node, providing advice and insight to construction professionals globally on advanced digital solutions on projects as well as BIM implementation and management processes. It is with this knowledge that she can communicate, train and manage teams in a BIM environment as well as ensure her knowledge is spread throughout the industry within education and not for profit groups. Digital Node was acquired by global engineering and advisory organisation Aurecon in 2021 and continues to support major global clients in training and digital related consultancy.
